January 10, 2012 - IIT Software announces SwiftMQ 9.0 with AMQP 1.0
Over 100 delegates attended the AMQP Conference in New York on October 12 where Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, SoftwareAG, StormMQ and INETCO confirmed their support for AMQP 1.0 with most previewing technology using live or recorded demonstrations. Applications demonstrated included real-time vehicle telematics, smart energy grid management and real-time transaction monitoring. A live AMQP 1.0 demonstration showing interoperation between 6 different implementations was also showcased including Microsoft, Red Hat and VMware.
AMQP provides an open, vendor neutral, platform agnostic Internet Protocol that simplifies software integrations, connects business partners across the Cloud and reduces costs through interoperable business messaging.
