AMQP Special Interest Groups (active)

AMQP1.0 SIG. The work of preparing AMQP 1.0.
WebSite Refurbishment holds details of the AMQP.ORG website infrastructure and presentation update.
Process SIG. Will define and agree the process for taking the AMQP spec to be a standard (Paul Fremantle)
User SIG. Will collect real user requirements which must be fulfulled to a) release AMQP 1.0 and b) to realise the most important use cases of AMQP (Matthew Arrott).
Security SIG. Will provide a set of proposals that build on the work for 0-10 that solve the four listed requirements. Authentication, Access Control, Message Level Security while meeting the requirements of a security audit. The definition of scope for these 4 requirements can be found at https://jira.amqp.org/confluence/display/AMQP/Requirements (Subbu).
Management SIG. Will standardise the critical elements of AMQP's management capabilities (Mark Blair).
Message Format SIG is defining standard formats for Message Properties, which AMQP needs to understand for processing message selectors. This is part of the AMQP1.0 work.
