AMQP Special Interest Groups (active)
- AMQP1.0 SIG. The work of preparing AMQP 1.0.
- WebSite Refurbishment holds details of the AMQP.ORG website infrastructure and presentation update.
- Process SIG. Will define and agree the process for taking the AMQP spec to be a standard (Paul Fremantle)
- User SIG. Will collect real user requirements which must be fulfulled to a) release AMQP 1.0 and b) to realise the most important use cases of AMQP (Matthew Arrott).
- Security SIG. Will provide a set of proposals that build on the work for 0-10 that solve the four listed requirements. Authentication, Access Control, Message Level Security while meeting the requirements of a security audit. The definition of scope for these 4 requirements can be found at https://jira.amqp.org/confluence/display/AMQP/Requirements (Subbu).
- Management SIG. Will standardise the critical elements of AMQP's management capabilities (Mark Blair).
- Message Format SIG is defining standard formats for Message Properties, which AMQP needs to understand for processing message selectors. This is part of the AMQP1.0 work.
